Partnerships and affiliations

GrandemarGrandemar is a founder member of Professional Association of Mineral Aggregates Producers (A.P.P.A.). This association was created in 2004 and it is a member of U.E.P.G. "Union Européenne des Producteurs de Granulats" (European Aggregates Association) with the office in Brussels. The purpose of the association is to promote amongst the producers in Romania the experience and studies of the same companies in the European Union. Following the example of U.E.P.G., the association activity is structured on four sections:
- Health and Safety at Work
- Environmental Protection
- Techniques and Quality Standards
- Economical Section

SC GRANDEMAR holds "Concession license for exploitation" signed with the National Agency for Mineral Resources for all quarries, approved by the Government.



Attestation

The Attestation certificate no. 856/2010, the National Agency for Mineral Resources Bucharest shows that SC GRANDEMAR S.A. Cluj has technical and professional competence to perform the following works: - Development of geological, technical and economic documentation for mineral resources – useful rocks
- Conducting field work
- The implementation, management and coordination related to mineral resources –useful rocks.

By the Certificate Series SSO No. 064, certification body for management systems OCSM - AFER show that SC GRANDEMAR S.A. Cluj has implemented and maintains a Management system for occupational health and safety OHSAS 18001:2008 document as required for fields: Quarrying of ornamental and building stone, extracting limestone, gypsum, chalk and slate (building stone sand crushing and chipping) - B 0811.
